Account data: when you register, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password.

Usage data: reading history, bookshelf, and progress you create while signed in, plus basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed).

Payment data: subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details; we retain only a Stripe customer/subscription identifier and status.

To provide and personalize the Service, sync your library across devices, process memberships, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and — for non-members — display advertising.

We use cookies for authentication and, with your consent, for advertising. Free users may see ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. You can manage consent via the cookie banner and opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Members do not see ads.

We share data only with processors necessary to run the Service: Stripe (payments), Google (analytics and advertising), and our hosting/infrastructure providers. Story content is generated using third-party AI models; your personal data is not used to train them.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@plotyarn.com.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, and apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure.

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
